Continental Center, Commercial skyscraper in Downtown Columbus, United States
The Continental Center rises 348 feet high with 26 floors, standing as the fourteenth tallest structure in the Columbus skyline.
Constructed between 1970 and 1973 for Ohio Bell Telephone Company, the building represented a $20 million investment in downtown Columbus development.
The Continental Center earned recognition on the National Register of Historic Places in 2021, marking its role in Columbus architectural heritage.
Located at 150 East Gay Street, the building contains 479,995 square feet of space and underwent plans for conversion to 330 residential units in 2022.
The structure, previously known as Ohio Bell Building and Ameritech Building, was designed by architectural firm Brubaker/Brandt.
