Memorial Hall, Public memorial and office building in Downtown Columbus, United States

Memorial Hall encompasses a 4,200-seat auditorium within its structure, featuring marble staircases and architectural elements from the early 1900s design period.

Frank Packard constructed the Franklin County Memorial Hall between 1905 and 1906, creating what became the second largest auditorium in the United States at that time.

The building has hosted numerous performances by artists like Rudolph Valentino and the Vienna Boys Choir, along with political debates and religious gatherings.

The structure currently functions as the headquarters of Franklin County Public Health, providing essential health services to the local community.

From 1964 to 1999, the building housed COSI, the Center of Science and Industry, before its relocation to the Franklinton neighborhood.
