Schloss Rosegg

Schloss Rosegg is a three-story neoclassical residence located northeast of the town center, flanked by two service buildings on the grounds. The estate contains period rooms, a wax museum, and a wildlife park spread across the property.

Prince Orsini-Rosenberg commissioned the castle in 1772, drawing design ideas from Italian villas along the Brenta Riviera for his companion Madame Lucrezia. The building has remained a landmark in the region's landscape since its completion.

The interior furnishings reflect 18th-century tastes, and a wax museum inside displays important historical figures from different periods. Visitors gain insight into how nobility lived and spent their daily life in that era.

Visitors can explore the castle through guided tours and visit the wildlife park on the grounds, with a café available for refreshments. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended as the property covers a large area with multiple sections to explore.
