Tierpark Rosegg

Tierpark Rosegg is a wildlife park spread across large grounds with forest, open areas, and ponds where visitors encounter various animal species in different settings. The park also features a hedge maze, play areas, and dining facilities, making it easy to spend a full day exploring.

The park developed from an old hunting ground with castle ruins and was enclosed by a large wall over a century ago. It was gradually transformed into a wildlife park that attracts visitors to observe animals rather than hunt them.

The park houses a special population of Chinese David's deer in an area with lakes and ponds where these rare animals live undisturbed. Additionally, there is a massive hedge maze made from hornbeam that is so large visitors can easily lose their way inside.
