Karapur Miah Bari Mosque

The mosque exhibits a rectangular prayer hall measuring 13.49 meters by 6.1 meters with plastered brick walls and three domes on the upper level.

Local zamindar Hayat Mahmud constructed this mosque after returning from a sixteen-year exile in Penang Island due to his resistance against British rule.

The structure includes a madrasa beneath its platform, serving both as an educational center and a place of worship for the local Islamic community.

Visitors can reach the mosque by taking a bus from Gabtoli stand to Barisal and then hiring a battery-powered vehicle along Nobogram Road.

Eight large minarets decorate the mosque, with four positioned at the front wall and four at the back, accompanied by twelve smaller ones between them.
