Barguna Polytechnic Institute is a government polytechnic in Bangladesh, established in 2006 at Dhalua on the Barguna–Khulna highway, on the bank of the Khakdon river about 3 kilometres west of Barguna town. Its campus is a complex of four connected buildings: a five-storey administrative block housing the principal's and vice-principal's offices, an academic building with classrooms, laboratories, a canteen and a medical centre, and two two-storey workshop buildings.

The institute was established in 2006 as a technical education facility in the region. Major change came in 2013 when student protests regarding administrative concerns prompted significant shifts in campus management and institutional leadership.

The campus is called Dhaluya, on the Barguna–Khulna highway beside the Khakdon river. Its five departments are Computer, Electronics, Civil, Environment, and Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology. Classes run in two shifts, morning and later in the day.
