Viladecans extends across 20.4 square kilometers at an elevation of 18 meters, positioned between Sant Boi de Llobregat and Sant Climent de Llobregat.
The settlement evolved from a small village of 1,194 residents in 1900 to a significant urban center with over 45,000 inhabitants by 1986.
