Miniestadi, Football stadium in Les Corts, Spain
Miniestadi was a football stadium in Barcelona with four stands and a capacity of around 15,000 spectators. The ground sat directly across from Camp Nou and served as home to FC Barcelona's reserve team and women's division.
The ground opened in 1982 and became a training center for Barcelona's youth and women's teams. After more than 30 years serving the club, the facility was eventually demolished to make way for new development.
The stadium served as a training ground where young footballers developed their abilities before moving to the senior team. It was also home to Barcelona's women's team, making it an important place for women's football in the city.
The ground was accessible via the Collblanc and Les Corts metro stations, making it easy to reach by public transport. Being located in a central area of Barcelona meant visitors could easily combine a visit with other activities in the city.
Beyond football, the stadium hosted major music concerts in the 1980s, including performances by Queen and David Bowie. This dual use highlighted how the venue served the city's cultural life in unexpected ways.
