The church features three naves and an octagonal apse decorated with double arches in different styles across three exterior levels.
Originally constructed in 1145, the church underwent modifications in the 19th century when it became part of the Jeronimas de la Reina monastery.
The building combines Christian and Muslim architectural elements, with its tower displaying characteristics of Islamic minarets and medieval Christian construction.
Located in central Toledo, the building now functions as a major seminary after serving as a convent and priests' residence.
The church walls contain integrated Visigothic remains, discovered during the 1940 restoration when the medieval construction was revealed.
