Viso del Marqués

Viso del Marqués is a municipality in Ciudad Real province situated on a high plateau at an elevation of about 800 meters. The town spreads across a considerable area and is marked by its central church and several buildings that reflect its historical importance.

The town grew around the grand Palace of the Marquis of Santa Cruz, built between 1564 and 1588 according to Italian Renaissance designs. This architectural landmark shaped the settlement's development and made the location a place of political importance during its era.
