The Planetarium features a cylindrical structure in ochre and blue colors, housing a 20-meter diameter projection dome displaying over nine thousand stars.

The Planetario de Pamplona began its scientific and educational mission upon its official opening on November 26, 1993, marking three decades of service.

The center regularly hosts exhibitions, conferences, and scientific workshops through collaborations with the Government of Navarra and educational institutions.

The facility includes multiple spaces such as the Tornamira room, Ibn Ezra conference hall, and Martín de Rada technology room for various educational activities.

The projection system combines a central star projector with 50 slide projectors and twenty special-effect projectors managed through computer systems.
