Mercado de Triana, Food marketplace in Triana district, Seville, Spain.

The Mercado de Triana contains over 100 stalls across 4,000 square meters, offering fresh produce, fish, meat, and local specialties from Andalusia.

Built in 2001 on the site of San Jorge Castle, the market location served as headquarters for the Spanish Inquisition during the medieval period.

Many vendor families maintain their stalls for generations, preserving traditional food preparation methods and local culinary knowledge of Andalusian gastronomy.

Located near Isabel II Bridge, the market opens Monday through Saturday from 9:00 to 17:00 and Sundays from 10:00 to 17:00 with wheelchair access.

The market basement contains archaeological remains of the former castle, allowing visitors to explore historical artifacts while shopping for fresh products.
