The Casa-Convento de Santa Teresa features a stone facade with a rounded arch doorway and two heraldic shields flanking a central window.
Saint Teresa of Avila resided in this 15th-century house from 1570 to 1574 while establishing the seventh community of Discalced Carmelites.
The interior preserves objects belonging to Saint Teresa and Saint Bonifacia Rodriguez de Castro, including the workshop where the Servants of Saint Joseph began.
The building opens for visits Tuesday through Sunday from 11:00 to 13:00, with entrance fees based on voluntary donations.
Within these walls, Saint Teresa composed her renowned poem 'Vivo sin vivir en mi' and wrote her Book of Foundations under Jesuit Ripalda's guidance.
