Campo de San Francisco, Salamanca

Campo de San Francisco is a public park in central Salamanca featuring an extensive network of gravel paths and open green spaces. The grounds stretch between major streets and offer numerous benches and shaded areas beneath mature trees.

The park developed on the site of a former Franciscan convent and underwent major transformation in the early modern period. During this redesign, hundreds of poplar trees were planted, shaping the character of the space for generations afterward.
