École Pías de San Antón, Neoclassical school building in Madrid, Spain
The former Piarist school complex spans 5,878 square meters between Hortaleza, Santa Brigida, and Farmacia streets in central Madrid.
Pedro de Ribera constructed the church section between 1735 and 1740, while Francisco de Rivas modified the former hospital to accommodate educational functions.
The building received recognition as a Building of Cultural Interest in 1995 and now houses the Official College of Architects of Madrid.
The facility includes underground parking, senior center facilities, a music school, and maintains regular religious services in the church section.
French writer Victor Hugo attended this school from 1811 to 1813, during which time the institution served as a prominent educational center.
