Hoces de Vegacervera

Hoces de Vegacervera is a limestone gorge carved by the Torío River in León province. The river continues to flow through steep rock walls that tower over 100 meters high, creating a narrow natural passage that draws hikers and nature lovers.

The site received official protection status in 1991 to preserve its geological formations and ecosystems. This designation marked an important moment in recognizing the area's natural value and ensuring its conservation for future generations.
