The church foundations date back to Visigothic times, and until the 15th century, the building served as a meeting place for the city council and nobles.
The funeral chapels contain processional statues representing different guilds of Úbeda, with Plateresque grilles adorning the interior architectural elements.
Located at Plaza Primero de Mayo, the Church of San Pablo operates from Tuesday to Sunday with an entry fee of 1 euro for visitors.
The south portal from 1511 incorporates late Gothic features, while the main entrance displays Romanesque elements, demonstrating the architectural evolution of the building.
