Faro de La Isleta

Faro de La Isleta is a lighthouse on the La Isleta peninsula in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, rising to about 250 meters above sea level. The structure consists of a masonry tower with a two-story building and lantern room that emits white light to guide vessels.

Engineer Juan de León y Castillo designed the lighthouse in 1865, and it immediately began guiding ships into the Port of Las Palmas. Since its completion, it has served as an essential navigation aid for the region's maritime traffic.
