Iglesia de Santiago, Cigales, Renaissance church in Cigales, Spain
The church features three naves of equal height separated by cylindrical pillars, with the central nave being wider than the side ones.
Construction of the church began in 1535 under architect Rodrigo Gil de Hontañon and continued through different phases until completion in 1772.
The main altar displays a baroque retablo completed in 1666, featuring high reliefs of Saint James alongside sculptures of Saint Peter and Saint Paul.

The church contains the San Juan chapel, designed by Francisco de Bierna in 1614, which houses a Renaissance retablo dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrows.
