The medical center started operations in February 2008 following an investment of over 80 million euros to serve 170,000 residents in the eastern Madrid region.
The hospital maintains a dual circulation system separating public areas for outpatients and visitors from internal corridors reserved for admitted patients and medical staff.
The facility contains 194 beds across different medical specialties, seven operating rooms, and provides services to residents of Coslada, San Fernando, Mejorada del Campo, and surrounding areas.
Natural light reaches all hospital rooms through interior courtyards, while the modular building design allows for future modifications based on evolving healthcare needs.
