Palace of Acebedo

The Palace of Acebedo is a baroque building featuring two lateral towers and a central balcony divided by pilasters across two floors. The structure incorporates a chapel with traditional religious spaces alongside the main residential areas.

The palace was built at the beginning of the seventeenth century by architect Juan de Naveda. Extensive renovations in 2022 transformed it into a functioning hotel while preserving its historical character.

The chapel within the palace displays a Latin cross floor plan with architectural details that reflect private family devotion. Visitors can observe the religious spaces designed for personal worship and ceremonies.

The building is located in Hoznayo within the Entrambasaguas area and functions as a hotel where guests can stay in a historical setting. The structure with its towers and balconies is easy to navigate and allows visitors to explore the public spaces without difficulty.

The rear tower displays a family motto carved in stone above a semicircular opening, supported by four circular buttresses. This detail reveals how the family used architecture to express their identity and values.
