Palacio de Villapanés

The Palacio de Villapanés is an 18th-century mansion in Seville's Old Town featuring baroque architecture with marble columns, ornate archways, and double-arched bay windows. The residence contains a substantial central courtyard designed in traditional Andalusian style and now operates as a luxury hotel.

Admiral López-Pintado commissioned this noble residence in 1729 as a family home. The building received official protection status as a heritage asset of Seville in 2009.

The building takes its name from the noble family who once owned it and maintains its original courtyard layout typical of Seville's wealthy households. Visitors can observe the elaborate interior details and spatial arrangement that reveal how the local aristocracy organized their daily lives.

The residence stands near Barrio Santa Cruz, within walking distance of major attractions like La Giralda bell tower and the Real Alcazar. This central location makes it easy to explore several historic sites during the same visit.

The Suite El Torreón sits within the building's dome and features ornate coffered ceilings along with an elaborate 19th-century marble bathtub. This space showcases one of the most distinctive rooms of the estate and reveals the luxurious fittings that once defined aristocratic life.
