Palacio de Orleans-Borbón, Town hall with eclectic architecture in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Spain.

The Palacio de Orleans-Borbón is a municipal building with mixed architectural styles in Sanlúcar de Barrameda that spans several levels. The facades blend Neo-Mudéjar elements with Italian classical architecture, displaying rich ornamental details throughout.

The building was constructed between 1853 and 1870 and originally served as a summer residence for Antoine, Duke of Montpensier, and Infanta Luisa Fernanda of Spain. It was later converted to serve the town as its administrative headquarters.

The rooms inside display a mix of Moorish, ornate Rococo, and exotic design styles that blend European and Asian traditions. Visitors can see this decorative range throughout the different spaces, each reflecting different artistic periods.

The building sits at the intersection of Cuesta de Belén and Calle Caballero in the town center. Keep in mind that this is an active administrative seat, so not all areas may be freely accessible to visitors.

The gardens were designed by French gardener Lecolant and contain dragon trees, cypresses, Judas trees, and kumquats arranged in an English landscape style. This unexpected blend of exotic plants creates a quiet retreat within the town.
