Playa de Benijo

Playa de Benijo extends for 300 meters along the northern coast of Tenerife, featuring dark volcanic sand and large rock formations emerging from the water.

The beach remains in its natural state since ancient times, forming part of the geological landscape shaped by volcanic activity millions of years ago.

This section of Tenerife's coastline functions as an unofficial naturist beach where visitors practice traditional nude sunbathing throughout the year.

Access to the beach requires descending numerous steps from the parking area, and visitors need to bring their own supplies as there are no facilities available.

The beach presents two notable rock formations, Roque Benijo and Roque de la Rapadura, which rise from the ocean like natural monuments against the horizon.
