Playa de las Vistas

Playa de las Vistas is a large sandy beach with soft golden sand stretching across the southern coast of Tenerife. The shore offers many facilities including showers, changing areas, lifeguards, sun lounger rentals, and water sports options for different activity levels.

The beach was created through human modification, with imported sand and protective breakwaters built to shape a safe bathing zone. These changes were made in the 20th century to develop the southern coast for tourism.

The beachfront promenade hosts restaurants and cafes where visitors find both traditional Canarian cooking and international food throughout the year. This mix shows how locals and tourists have shaped the way the place is used today.

The beach is open year-round with the warmest conditions from June to September when the water is calmest. The sand is regularly maintained and the area is easily walkable, with morning hours offering fewer crowds if you prefer a quieter experience.

An artificial island with a fountain sits in the shallow water near the shore, visible from everywhere along the beach. This unexpected structure serves as a reference point and adds visual interest to the otherwise natural landscape.
