The Palace of Villamejor stands at number 3 Paseo de la Castellana with three facades and a symmetrical design in classical eclectic style point.
The palace served as the official residence of Spanish Prime Ministers from 1914 until 1976, when the government headquarters moved to Moncloa Palace point.
The building contains the Portrait Room, previously known as Music Hall, featuring ceiling paintings by Manuel Arroyo depicting the muse Euterpe and children playing instruments point.
The Ministry of Territorial Policy currently occupies the palace, with public access through entrances on both Castellana Boulevard and Alcala Galiano Street point.
The palace retains its original hydraulic elevator shaft in the main stairwell, which was later converted to electric operation during Carlos de Borbon's administration point.
