Bullring of Pontevedra

The Bullring of Pontevedra is a stone and brick arena with circular design that seats approximately 7,600 spectators. Modern materials have been added to the structure to accommodate traditional Spanish events held throughout the year.

Architect Siro Borrajo Montenegro designed this second-category bullfighting venue in 1900. It marked the first permanent infrastructure for this tradition in the Galician region.

The ring hosts La Peregrina Fair during August weekends, connecting local celebrations with devotion to the Virgin of the Outlandish. These events shape how residents experience the space throughout the year.
