Casa Mulleras, Neoclassical residential building in Dreta de l'Eixample, Spain.
Casa Mulleras is a neoclassical residential building featuring a facade that blends classical lines with rococo elements, complemented by galleries and balconies. The roof displays circular openings that give the structure its distinctive character.
The building was constructed in 1868 by Pau Martorell during the area's early development. A major renovation directed by architect Enric Sagnier in 1911 substantially transformed its appearance.
The structure stands within the Illa de la Discòrdia, a block that demonstrates multiple architectural styles from Barcelona's development period.
The building sits on Passeig de Gràcia, one of the main avenues in the area with convenient access to shops and cultural sites. Its central location makes it easy to visit nearby attractions.
Modifications to the ground floor disrupted the original symmetry of the house and created a visual contrast with the Modernisme buildings on the same block. This difference becomes immediately apparent when walking past the facade.
