Cala Bóta

Cala Bóta is a small cove near Manacor with fine sand surrounded by low rock walls covered in Mediterranean plants. The beach extends about 20 meters in length and 15 meters in width, creating a quiet and secluded spot.

The cove has remained a natural, undeveloped site along Mallorca's coast for a long time. This isolation has protected the spot from major changes and kept it as a raw natural area.

The beach represents accepted practices in Spanish coastal communities where visitors can freely choose their approach to clothing. The presence of this option shows how locals respect different views about freedom by the sea.

Access requires a walk of about 2 kilometers on a marked path from Finca Can Roig and sturdy footwear is needed. Visitors should bring water and personal supplies since no facilities are available at the beach itself.

During certain seasons a small natural freshwater pool forms in the stream bed of the area. This temporary source mixes with the salt water and creates an unusual geological situation.
