Cala Varques

The 70-meter long beach presents white sand surrounded by limestone cliffs, rocks, and pine trees along the eastern coast of Mallorca.

Originally a fishing spot for local families, the beach underwent changes when authorities removed its beach bar to control visitor numbers.

The beach maintains two distinct sections, where naturist and conventional beachgoers share the space following local customs and regulations.

Visitors need to walk 2 kilometers on a rocky path from Cala Romantica, bringing water, food, and necessary supplies due to absence of facilities.

The secluded cove contains underwater caves, including Cuevas del Pirata and Cova des Coloms, which attract speleology and diving enthusiasts.
