Casa de la Familia Hernández-Pinzón

The building features a two-story structure with a centered entrance door, three balconies on the upper floor, and cast-iron tube railings on the windows.

The Hernández-Pinzón family mansion dates from the second half of the 16th century and housed generations of naval officers who served the Spanish crown.

In 1828, American writer Washington Irving visited the house and documented in his diary the interior patio with a fountain surrounded by flowers.

The residence spans 672 square meters across two floors, with 335 square meters on the ground floor and 319 square meters on the upper level.

Two commemorative plaques on the main facade honor Admiral Luis Hernández-Pinzón Álvarez, who organized events for the 400th anniversary of America's discovery.
