Playa de Cura

Playa de Cura is an urban beach in Mogán that stretches about 193 meters along the coast, roughly 34 meters wide. The shore has sandy sections with olive-colored sand on the eastern end and rockier zones where stones meet the water.

The beach was developed in the second half of the 20th century as part of Gran Canaria's coastal growth. This transformation turned the original shoreline into a modern swimming destination.

Locals frequent this beach regularly to swim and relax with family and friends, making it a common gathering spot in the community. The setting feels like a place where everyday seaside routines play out, rather than a tourist-focused destination.
