Platja de Torre Valentina

Platja de Torre Valentina is a sandy beach on the Costa Brava that stretches for about 500 meters between two popular coastal towns. The shoreline features clear water and rocky outcrops that create a sheltered swimming area.

A watchtower called Torre Valentina was built in the 1500s to guard the bay against pirate raids from North African ships. This defensive structure remains visible from the beach today.

The beach holds multiple environmental certifications including EMAS Quality, ISO 14001, and Tourism Quality Commitment, reflecting local commitment to standards.

The beach has showers, toilets, foot baths, and lifeguards on duty during the swimming season. Ramps provide access for people with limited mobility to reach the water.

A natural rock formation divides the beach into two distinct sections, each with its own character and feel. Visitors can choose between a busier or quieter side depending on their preference.
