La Cicer

La Cicer is a 520 meter stretch of beach at the western end of Las Canteras, featuring dark olive-colored sand and moderate waves suitable for water activities. The shoreline includes showers, waste bins, and cleaning services for visitor convenience.

This section developed from a natural coastline into an urban recreational space following the construction of the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium in the late 20th century. The development transformed it into a popular gathering place for the surrounding neighborhood.

The local surfing community is a defining presence here, with schools teaching water sports year-round to both newcomers and experienced riders. You can watch surfers of all levels working on their skills in the waves throughout the day.
