La Cicer is the westernmost section of Las Canteras, a 520-metre beach of dark olive sand where the surf breaks more strongly than along the sheltered central bay. Showers, bins and cleaning services line the shore. The Alfredo Kraus Auditorium stands at its back, and the surf schools of the Las Canteras neighbourhood use its waves.

This section developed from a natural coastline into an urban recreational space following the construction of the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium in the late 20th century. The development transformed it into a popular gathering place for the surrounding neighborhood.
