Platja de Llenguadets

Platja de Llenguadets is a small sandy beach on the Mediterranean coast in Salou featuring golden sand bordered by natural rock formations on both sides. The beach measures about 60 meters long and 40 meters wide, providing a cozy bathing area with open sea access.

The beach became a bathing spot as Salou transformed from a fishing village into a coastal resort town during the mid-20th century. This growth opened up the local shoreline for both visitors and residents to enjoy.

This beach serves as a gathering place where local families spend summer evenings by the sea, enjoying time together in a relaxed setting. It remains an important part of daily coastal life for residents of Salou.

The beach provides showers, restrooms, and lifeguard coverage during the summer months from June through September. Access is straightforward from Torrassa Street, and the area is easy to reach on foot.

Natural rock pools form at both ends of the beach during low tide, creating small protected areas where visitors can observe Mediterranean marine creatures. These shallow basins offer a safe exploring spot away from the main current.
