Mourisca beach, also called Matadero, is a 90-metre-long, 6-metre-wide beach in the Alcabre parish of Vigo. It lies on the left bank of the Museo del Mar de Galicia, beside an old chalet bordered by a wooden walkway that links it to the neighbouring beaches along the sea edge.

The beach takes its name from the Mourisca slaughterhouse that once stood nearby, which also gave it the popular name arenal del Matadero. It lies in the parish of Alcabre, beside the Museo del Mar de Galicia, whose grounds hold an old chalet. A wooden walkway along the sea links it to the neighbouring beaches.

Access by car ends at the Museo del Mar on Avenida Atlántida; from there the beach lies on foot to the left of the museum. A wooden walkway links it with the neighbouring Praia dos Olmos. Vitrasa city buses L10, C15B and C15C serve the beach, which has access ramps, bins and a cleaning service.

The beach is also called arenal del Matadero and lies just left of the Museo del Mar de Galicia, beside an old chalet. Two tiny coves sit to its right beneath the museum, and a lighthouse stands at the museum. Sunsets here fall over the Cíes Islands.
