Casa del Punt de Ganxo, Art Nouveau building in La Seu district, Valencia, Spain
The Casa del Punto de Gancho stretches across five floors with a red facade featuring stone balconies, iron railings, and two small viewing galleries at the corners.
Manuel Peris Ferrando designed this residential structure in 1906, constructing it above the former site of the Saint Valero chapel from 1719.
The building demonstrates the influence of Belgian architect Paul Hankar's Casa Ciamberlani in Brussels, adapted with local Valencian architectural elements.
The property stands at Plaza de la Almoina number 4, maintaining its original entrance door and ornate facade decorations from the early twentieth century.
The facade incorporates plant motifs through sgraffito techniques and displays circular windows with botanical patterns characteristic of the Valencian Art Nouveau movement.
