Jardins de Clara Campoamor, Urban park in Les Corts district, Barcelona, Spain.
Jardins de Clara Campoamor is an urban park in the Les Corts district featuring a central grass area and hard-paved sides. The space is planted with nettle trees and Canary Island palm trees and includes a children's play area.
Barcelona City Council approved this space on July 27, 1994, and opened it to the public on December 3 of that year. Its creation was part of the city's efforts to develop new green spaces in the district.
The entrance features the sculpture Citerea by Maria Luisa Serra Catalan, inspired by Watteau's painting Pilgrimage to Cythera Island. This artwork creates a connection to European art history and gives the space a distinctive artistic character.
The park is located between Avinguda Diagonal and the streets of Gandesa, Europa, and Joan Güell, making it accessible by public transport. The paved areas can become slippery during rain, so paths are best enjoyed in fair weather.
The park underwent a complete renovation in October 2024 with improvements in accessibility and sustainable materials. This modernization transformed the space into a more inclusive and environmentally conscious area.
