Bodegas Fundador, Largest wine producer in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain

The winery extends across 275 hectares of vineyards in the sherry regions of Sanlúcar, Jerez de la Frontera, and Puerto de Santa María.

Founded in 1730 as El Molino, Bodegas Fundador established its presence by creating Spain's first brandy, marketed by Pedro Domecq Loustau in 1874.

The La Mezquita cellar, one of the largest wine cellars worldwide, represents the wine-making legacy of the Jerez region.

Tours operate Tuesday through Thursday at 12:00, Fridays at 12:00 and 19:00, and Saturdays at 11:00, 13:00, and 19:00, with reservations required for groups.

The facility uses American oak barrels previously used for aging Jerez sherries to ferment their internationally recognized brandies.
