Museo Arqueológico Municipal de Jerez

The museum occupies an eighteenth-century building on Plaza del Mercado, featuring exhibition spaces across multiple floors displaying regional archaeological discoveries.

Founded in 1873 as the Municipal Archaeological Collection, the museum moved to its current location and underwent major renovations before reopening to the public in 2012.

The museum houses numerous artifacts from different periods, including a rare Corinthian helmet discovered near the Charterhouse by the Guadalete river.
