Parc de la station balnéaire maritime

Merikylpylänpuisto park extends over 1.7 hectares along the shores of Hevosenkenkälahti bay, featuring landscaped green areas and sports facilities.

In 1913, businessman Julius Tallberg built a wooden summer restaurant called Lauttasaaren Kasino near the current park location, which operated until burning down in 1947.

The park serves as a central gathering point for approximately 20,000 residents within two kilometers, offering spaces for community activities and recreational sports.

The park includes exercise equipment, ball game areas, skateboarding facilities, and a pedestrian bridge connecting different sections over Särkiniementie street.

The sandy beach area maintains small populations of sea kale plants, representing some of the easternmost specimens in the Gulf of Finland.
