Teijo National Park

The 34-square-kilometer park contains multiple lakes, dense pine forests, marshlands, and rocky terrains spread across the southwestern Finnish landscape.

The area holds industrial heritage from the 1800s with preserved iron works buildings in Kirjakkala village, showing Finland's early manufacturing development.

The iron works buildings in the park remain active craft centers where visitors can observe traditional Finnish manufacturing techniques and local artisans.

The park features 50 kilometers of marked trails, including 3 kilometers of paths designed for visitors with mobility requirements and wheelchair access.

The park contains a rare eutrophic fen ecosystem, which represents one of the last remaining mires of this type in southern Finland.
