Teijo Church

Teijo Church is a stone building in Salo that sits on a hillside overlooking the village below. The structure occupies a raised location near a water management dam, giving it a distinctive position within the local landscape.

Robert Bremer built this structure in 1829 as an offering of thanks after a severe flood he had predicted failed to occur. This vow led to the creation of this religious site in its elevated location.

This house of worship serves the local community as a place for religious gatherings and celebrations throughout the year. It remains a central point where parishioners come together for important life events and seasonal observances.
