Sauvo Church, Medieval stone church in Sauvo, Finland.
The church exhibits traditional stone architecture with a height of 19 meters and contains several chambers dedicated to religious ceremonies.
First documented in 1346 through records from Turku Cathedral, the current structure of Sauvo Church was completed between 1460 and 1472.
The interior of the church preserves 15th-century mural paintings, a medieval altar, a triumph crucifix, and a historical tabernacle.
The church administration transferred from Sauvo-Karuna Parish to Paimio Parish on January 1, 2019, maintaining regular religious services.
The church grounds include a military cemetery, combining religious heritage with memorial functions for the local community.
