The 46-hectare vineyard stretches across Pauillac, producing wines from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc grape varieties.

Pierre Urbain Pédesclaux founded the winery in 1810, which received classification as Fifth Growth in the 1855 Bordeaux Wine Official Classification.

The estate represents Bordeaux winemaking traditions through its gravity-fed winery design and commitment to organic agriculture methods.
