Marineland

Marineland is a marine animal park and water park in Antibes featuring multiple exhibition areas with dolphins, killer whales, and sea lions in large pools and tanks. Alongside the animal exhibits, the site has water attractions including slides and swimming areas for guests.

The park was founded in 1970 on the French Riviera, growing from a small marine facility into Europe's largest marine animal park. Decades of expansion transformed it into a major destination for observing marine mammals.

The park has shaped how French visitors understand marine life for decades, with daily shows revealing dolphin and killer whale behaviors. Presentations help people connect with how these animals live and interact in the ocean.

The park has restaurants, shops, and ample parking for visitors arriving by car. It stays open year-round, though hours extend during summer from June through September.

This is the only place in France where visitors can watch killer whales and dolphins perform in synchronized movements. Such shows are extremely rare in European facilities.
