Parc de Vaugrenier, Natural park in Alpes-Maritimes, France.

The Parc de Vaugrenier is a roughly 100-hectare natural park featuring forests, meadows, a freshwater pond, and several walking trails. The area displays typical Mediterranean vegetation and offers various ways to move through and explore the landscape.

The area has been inhabited since ancient times, with archaeological finds revealing settlement from the 7th century BC onwards. Later peoples, including Romans, also made use of the land as their presence expanded into the region.

The park serves as a place where people come to experience the Mediterranean surroundings and observe the plants and animals living here. Visitors use the trails and open spaces to connect with nature and learn about the landscape around them.

Wear comfortable shoes when visiting, as trails cross different terrain types and vary in difficulty. Coming in the early morning or late afternoon gives the best light for observing animals along the paths.

The park has designated observation platforms near the pond where visitors can watch waterfowl including ducks, herons, and egrets without disturbing them. These spots are positioned to provide clear views while keeping a respectful distance from the birds.
