Église Saint-Pierre-de-Chaillot

The Église Saint-Pierre-de-Chaillot is a church with Romanesque and Byzantine features located on Avenue Marceau in the 16th arrondissement. The building has two levels stacked vertically with a bell tower rising above, and its stone exterior shows the character of early 20th-century religious architecture.

A church had stood at this location since the 11th century, but the building you see today was completely rebuilt in the 1930s. Construction took place between 1933 and 1938 under the design of architect Emile Bois.
