Hôtel de Cébié

The Hôtel de Cébié is a multistory private mansion in Aurillac featuring decorated interior spaces, ornamental woodwork, and traditional fireplaces throughout. The building demonstrates solid craftsmanship with carefully designed details across multiple living areas.

Built in the mid-18th century for the Cébié noble family, the mansion reflects the prosperity of that era. It later became the home of Baron Perret, who served as mayor of Aurillac.

The mansion displays rooms from different periods, ranging from 18th-century salons to chambers with ornate parquet flooring. These spaces offer visitors insight into how wealthy families lived and arranged their homes.

Since 2004, every interior element of the mansion receives legal protection, from furnishings to specialized rooms. Notably, even a drying room on the third floor falls under this preservation order.
