Founded in 1901 after receiving recognition at the Paris World Exposition, the museum became the first institution dedicated to preserving Croatian educational heritage.
The museum contains over 1000 exhibits documenting teaching methods and classroom environments that shaped the educational experience of Croatian students.
Visitors can explore the museum Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 to 17:00, Thursday until 20:00, and Saturday from 09:00 to 14:00.
The collection features an authentic reconstruction of a 19th-century classroom with original desks, blackboards, and instructional materials from that period.
